Alôpex

"It was love"

Alôpex is an arctic fox, and she is Chris’s Amícûs. He finds her on the island of animals, which you reach through Surain’s shop. She comes flying straight at him, and he catches her in midair. Afterwards, Ahra tells the story to everyone.

A voice in his head

Chris and Alôpex talk to each other in their thoughts. She doesn’t say much, but when she does, it lands. Before the island test, when Chris doubts whether he belongs, she is the one who tells him that he does.

She sleeps curled up on his pillow, and in the morning light her fur shines bluish white.

The one who looks out for him

Alôpex can sense things before Chris can. During the island test, she is the one who digs up the first scroll, and the one who says that whatever is lurking in the forest belongs to the island.

In a duel against Nihil, she leaps in and saves Chris. Nihil calls it cheating. She calls it love.
